About us
Nobody gave you a manual.
NidoGuides exists because you need one.
It's three in the morning. The baby is crying. You've opened six different tabs on Google, each with a different answer. Some contradict each other. None of them really speak to you and your baby.
Or you're five months pregnant, trying to understand what to expect, and everything you find is either too generic or too alarming.
NidoGuides was born from that moment. From that feeling of looking for something practical, clear, written by someone who doesn't judge you — and not finding it.
"I understand. We've all been there." That's the phrase that opens every one of our guides. It's not a slogan — it's our starting point.
Who we really are
NidoGuides is an editorial project dedicated to the first year of life. We're not an app, not a £200 course, not an influencer selling you the definitive method.
We're a team that believes in one thing: accurate information, written in a human way, available when you need it. Not next week. Right now. At three in the morning. On your phone in a dark room while you're feeding.
Our guides are written and reviewed using up-to-date sources — ESPGHAN guidelines, infant sleep research, evidence-based paediatrics — and then translated into plain language. No jargon. No moralising. No pretending every baby is the same.
What you won't find here
- The perfect method that works for every baby. It doesn't exist, and anyone selling it to you is lying.
- Judgement about how you feed, how much you sleep, how you handle the night.
- Contradictory advice written for clicks, not to help you.
- Promises of perfect nights in three days or weaning without tears.
What you will find instead
- Evidence-based information translated into plain language — not fear-driven journalism.
- Human tone, not clinical. We write for real mothers at three in the morning, not for paediatric conferences.
- Respect for your intelligence. We explain the why behind everything. You're capable of making your own decisions with the right information.
- Real practicality. Every guide ends with a checklist or a concrete plan. Theory without tools isn't enough.
- No judgement. BLW or spoon, breastfeeding or formula, co-sleeping or cot — our guides cover all options without taking sides.
Our philosophy
The first year of life is the most intense of all. But it's also when the volume of contradictory advice, guilt, and impossible standards reaches its peak.
We believe that an informed, calm mother is the most precious resource a baby can have. Not a perfect mother — an informed one. There's a huge difference.
None of our guides will tell you what you must do. We explain how things work, what options exist, what the research says. Then you choose — because you know your baby better than anyone else.
"You're already an extraordinary mother. The fact that you're looking for information proves it."

How NidoGuides guides work
Every guide is a downloadable PDF, optimised for reading on your phone or printing on A4 to keep in the kitchen, on your bedside table, or in the nappy bag.
No app to install. No subscription to remember to cancel. No account to create. You pay once, download immediately, and keep the guides forever.
Guides are available in Italian and English. Templates are printable and designed to actually be used — not to sit in a drawer.
One important thing: NidoGuides guides are tools for information and guidance — they do not replace the advice of your paediatrician. If you have concerns about your baby's health or development, your doctor is always the first point of contact.
Start with the free guide. The Breastfeeding Guide for the First 6 Weeks is free and available immediately — no credit card required.
